This page explains what data SyndicHubs processes, why, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
1. Who is responsible?
For co-ownership data (units, residents, charges, incidents, documents), the data controller is your building's property manager; SyndicHubs processes it on their behalf. For property manager accounts and subscriptions, SyndicHubs is the data controller.
2. Data processed
Identity and contact details (name, email, phone); unit number and shares; service charges, payments and receipts; incidents and related photos; documents published by the manager; votes and comments; questions asked to the assistant; technical data (error logs, IP address used to prevent abuse).
3. Purposes
Running the co-ownership (charges, accounting, incidents, communication, general meetings), securing account access, billing property manager subscriptions, and fixing service errors. Your data is never sold or rented and is not used for advertising.
4. Service providers
Hosting, database and authentication: Google Cloud (Firebase), currently in the United States, with a planned move to the European Union. Assistant and invoice reading: Google Gemini. Property manager subscription payments: Stripe. Automatic emails: an email delivery provider. Each provider only accesses the data it needs.
5. Retention
Co-ownership data is kept while the property manager uses SyndicHubs, then deleted or returned on request, subject to legal accounting obligations. Technical logs are kept for about 30 days.
6. Cookies
SyndicHubs only uses a session cookie, required to keep you signed in, and local storage for your preferences (language, theme). No advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
7. Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access (manager, staff, guard, resident), security rules checked by automated tests, and an audit log of sensitive actions.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and object. For co-ownership data, contact your property manager first; for any other request, write to us via the Contact page. You may also contact the CNDP (www.cndp.ma).
